For being kind of pissed off at one of my bridal party and her mom? I have planned my wedding for only 6 months. The plan was to pay for all of my girls makeup...which would be 12 ladies. Of course I was going to find a place with a great deal for all of them.....which I had. Well 3 months ago, my MOH and her mom said they would pay for all of the girls makeup. I was like are you sure because its alot of girls.....they said its fine. Well each time after that I asked about the makeup such as cost, I was told "What am I worrying about it for, we are paying for it". Okay cool. Mind you, I asked about this makeup several times.

Well, I finally had my trial a few days ago(my wedding is next saturday)and everything was going good. Until the lady (who happens to be their cousin) told them the price per girl which was $45. All of a sudden, they are only going to pay for my makeup and their makeup only...........Um I know it was supposed to be a gift but she was high considering I had found other great makeup artists for much cheaper. Now however, the ones I was looking at before are all booked AND I just do not have the money because I did not put it in my budget since they kept telling me they were paying for it.

Im pissed because first, they wanted to go with this lady because she was their cousin (but her prices are not good). They signed a contract with her just for my makeup but now my girls makeup are left out. I understand they think they NOW know the price is high but I feel like they should have checked months ago when I asked because I cant just pop $45 extra up on the bridesmaids one week out when they have already paid quite a bit for this wedding. And what makes me look bad, after I verified with my MOH and her mom several times, I told the girls that someone was thoughtful enough to pay for their makeup so they were not expecting that cost either.

So my MOH looking at me crazy like I said something wrong about wanting a different person to do the makeup because I would prefer to try to pay for the makeup myself since I had already told them they didnt have to. I could have found somebody way much cheaper than that, especially for such a large group.

i'd be mad. but there was a post earlier this month about people offering and basically the end consensus was "don't count your chickens before they hatch".

<div>THIS! But this is way too late in the game for them to be backing out of something like this. I actually think $45 is a good price. My girls paid WAY more than that a piece for airbrush. I would just send an email to all the girls explaining your situation, I know it is short notice but maybe some of them would be willing to pay for their own. Or get their make-up done where they want to. </div>

You are right, I should never have listened to them. I just see I cant trust some people word. Its just crazy considering I never asked them to do that. I was doing my own planning and they jumped in with that. smh

Lol that price was not a good price to me considering I found people who were running specials and were going to do it for $25 a face and mine would be free because I had so many girls. At first all of the girls wanted makeup and when I sent that text out, I only received a response from 3 ladies.

I agree. I'd be pissed too, however $45 a face is DARN good! $25 is even better, but you have to be cognizant of the quality of makeup and the time they are using for each girl. My Makeup artist is charging $30/face $35/wlashes and she uses all Mac products. It's more for me. The girl who did my e-pics was only going to charge $30/pp.

Thats the thing.the $25 makeup artist has excellent work which has been recognized on all the weeding websites which is where I found her. The only makeup Ive seen this lady do was mine from prom which was I dont know how long ago and she did only my eyes which I couldnt tell you what they looked like if someone was paying me to. lol

$35 is even a good price, especially with lashes.

I believe there is a macy's up the street from me so I will go to their MAC artist and see about a discount. Thanks ladies.
