Literally everything on my registry was at least 30% if not 50% off up until midnight last night.  Now they are all back to full price...

Of course, this is the week my actual shower AND wedding invites go out.  So much for getting more stuff because things were so cheap!

    Same with my - my shower is Sunday (a week from today).  Some people obviously knew about the sale yesterday - my pots and pans came off the registry yesterday.  Everything is back up to full price now on mine, too. 

    I thought you were going to be writing about their shipping when I opened the post - they have sent me the same set of glasses three times and they have been broken each time.  I'm waiting on the fourth set now.  :(

    Don't worry about it. We registered at Macy's and have been doing our registry completion during sales. They cycle between being on and off-sale, so everything will be on sale again within days to a week or so. People know to just wait for things to be on sale again. I wouldn't buy most things from a dept store like Macy's without the item being on sale anyway.

    Yeah, the prices will change again within a few days, so hopefully people will realize this. Also Macy's is really good about matching competitor's pricing and honoring past sales if someone mentions it.

    It is annoying though with the constant price switching.

    They'll be on sale again tomorrow. There were very few days that items on our registry weren't on sale.

    I believe this is a corporate policy but I know at "our" Macy's, if you buy something and it goes on sale within 10 days, if you bring the receipt back (you don't have to bring the item) they will adust your purchase price and give you a refund.  So even if people buy something for you now, if it goes on sale w/in 10 days of their purchasing it, they can get that adjusted and get a refund.

    Also, there is another sale starting this week. I think it starts the 21st. I looked at the flyer that came in the mail but I honestly can't recall what all was on it. I think possibly a lot of lenox china patterns, for one thing.

    I do remember a separate flyer just for furniture.

    Yep, the Home Sale begins on the 21st or 22nd I think. Haha!

    I thought this was going to be about things constantly becoming unavailable and then available again. I have no idea what's going on with my towels, but it's pissing me off. I don't know if I should change them or what.

    My guests bought our china when it was at $400. On Saturday it was $179.99. We returned the china and got the money, then went and bought it again. They also told us they were pre selling for their bridal completion event which gave us another 20% off if we didn't pick it up until wednesday or later which is even better bc we are moving this week and won't have to move it twice! It's been great! So don't worry...you'll end up getting great deals with Macy's.

    I need to call Macys and BBB again, but can you return your registry gifts and get cash back or do they only give you store credit?
