August Week 1 Accountability

Continuation from this post.

I didn't use the mats hardly at all at work this week and I've noticed an incredible difference in how my legs *feel*, so after vacation is over I'm going to get back to that running thing :)

Also, have any of you ever heard of a juice fast?  I know someone who did it, and I believe my co-workers son did it too.  It's quite a bit of willpower training and teaching yourself what and how much to eat all over again.  I was debating if I wanted to get into it and see how it works  (worse that happens is I end up with another small appliance that I never use or give to someone else?  could be worse!)  I've read a few websites in regards to it but didn't know if any of you had experienced anything like it first hand.

  • Good morning! Funny you should mention a juice fast. FI and I are doing the 10 day lemonade cleanse starting today. We've both done it before with great results and wanted to give it another go.

    This week was super easy for me!!  I watched what I ate like a hawk and was very good! (minus the tiny slice of pizza 2 nights ago and the food at the bazaar last night, but it was small amount)  I increased drinking water, like  A LOT,  and did more physical activities and ran around a lot at work. I'm down 6 lbs total since 3 weeks ago. It might not be much but I'm extatic!

  • I'm gonna just jump on the bandwagon. I got insanity, so I'm excited to do that! I'm trying to drink water only - I'm addicted to sweet tea, and I'm always guzzling down energy drinks when I work overnights at the hospital.

    I'm hoping to cut out bread - perhaps not completely, but a good majority of it. I really need to get my eating together.

    Our engagement photos are on the 14th, and I know that nothing really can be done in such a short amount of time, but I'm hoping maybe to smooth out - even if just a little. Any tips?
