Restaurant Help

My fiance and I are planning a Disney Escape wedding with our families and a few close friends (25 people max) for next June.  Our ceremony will most likely be at the Wedding Pavilion at Disney, but we're looking at doing our celebration dinner at a restaurant off property.

Our first date was to a Mexican restaurant, and we thought we'd like to do that.  Any opinions on Cantina Laredo?  I've looked online and read good reviews, I know they could accommodate us and the menu looks great.  Anyone with personal experience?

TIA!

My fiance is from the Williamsport area.  I'll be moving there; I leave in NEPA right now.

Cool I grew up outside Philadelphia,  and went to Lock Haven, so I know Williamsport quite well!

Ok so this isn't a mexican restaurant but its a really cool wine place that we went to a couple of weeks ago,its called the winter park wine bar. I found it after Samantha Brown went there, and the place was originally a old bank and they turned it into a really cool wine bar. They have a party room where the bank vault used to be downstairs, and they have big flat screen tvs where you can show slideshows of you and your fiance. www.the<strong" rel="nofollow">www.the>>wineroomonline.com/

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about that restaurant but Disney has a lot of really amazing restaurants.  Are you sure you wouldn't want to go to one of the restaurants there?

The Maya Grill  has South American inspired cuisine though it's not truly mexican.  There is the restaurant in Mexico in Epcot.  It has a beautiful atmosphere but I really didn't like the food. I thought it was too spicy.  However, I hate mexican food and I can't eat anything spicy at all so maybe someone who likes mexican food might like it.

We just got back from our vacation and our date is penciled in with Disney; it won't be "our date" though until 8 months out.

We went to Agave Azul and had a HORRIBLE experience, although I did think the restaurant was gorgeous.  We had a party of 8.  I explained to the manager when we got there that we were thinking of doing our wedding dinner there, yadda, yadda.  Our service was horrible.  We didn't get refills of our drinks or even see our waiter again until after we had been there for 45 minutes and I complained to another waiter in Spanish about not having gotten refills.  Then, we waited over an hour for our food.  Two people in our party didn't get what they ordered, but didn't want to wait to get their correct order.  I would never go back there again.

A few days later, we went to Cantina Laredo, and had the complete opposite experience.  Service was phenomenal and the food was fantastic.  Needless to say, that' s where we'll be having our celebration :)
