Oh man, I railed against pinterest for the longest damn time, but dammit if it isn't a goldmine of excellent recipes. Most of my boards are recipes.

If he could, my husband would kiss Pinterest's asss for introducing me to so many great recipes. The other day he saw these buffalo tacos and I said I had a good recipe for them. He goes, "I'VE NEVER TASTED IT." all indignantly because I haven't made them yet.

Maybe these will be part of his week of birthday surprises. Easy to make?

Oh and also- you (AATB) were in my dream last night. You kept talking in the "ermagherd" voice (?) and it was probably the funniest thing ever. You also had rhinestones on your nails. We were building a float for a parade.

Lol me having rhinestones on my nails is pretty damn funny. I don't think I even painted my nails for my own wedding? Maybe I did a clear coat. I can't remember.

You know why I find ermahgerds so funny? Because I have two cousins who talked EXACTLY like this when they were little. When I read them I hear their cute little voices. "JERNERFERR."

I do one new recipe a week, Nates, and lately they've all been from Pinterest. I only cook three or four times a week because we usually have leftovers. Pinterest is the best online cookbook evarrrrr.

I used to get so irrationally irritated when people would say they got their recipe from Pinterest. Like, no, you got yor recipe from mymomcooks.com blog or something, Pinterest was just the vehicle that you discovered it via.

but then I got over that because I get all my recipes from Pinterest. eta: and that's stupid to be irritated by! but I do now follow quite a few foodie blogs.

I'm just in a weird spot- I have a few weeks before school starts but the wedding stuff is over and I haven't had free time like this in 3 1/2 years. I should start doing some new recipes at night.

I was SO lazy after the wedding was over.

But I go through phases where I want to get things done all.the.time. Then I go through my lazy stage again.

I dont usually do the cooking, but on the weekends during the winter I like to throw something in the crockpot.

I'm always on the lookout for good, easy recipes in the summer because cooking in this heat blows. We're trying to eat at home a lot more, though, because we're saving up for a house.

One recipe a week is good, AATB. I tend to overload on new and then they don't get integrated into my regular cooking plans because I forget them.
