where to get out of town bags???

We are planning to make out of town welcome bags for our guests who will be traveling to the wedding. What type of containers / bags do you recommend and where can we buy them?

I think we are just getting basic paper bags, like the kind you would use for a gift with handles. My mother may be decorating them in some way, or you could get them in your wedding colors. All the bags I've ever received have been like this. Some people do other types of boxes/containers. I think Taccoten might have something like that, but she's partying it up in Vegas right now.

Can I make a recommendation and suggest Gable boxes instead?

A wedding we went to last year did these instead of bags, and we loved them. They were a little sturdier, and we actually reused it for several things (in addition to loading it up with stuff at the hotel). They were actually quite popular because most people do bags instead; at the morning after brunch, everyone was talking about them. She did the natural brown and dressed it up with their colors and mongram; she said she was going to get a stamp made of their monogram and stamp it directly on the box, but ran out of time to order the stamp.

We used these too. We got them at the dollar store. I think they were 5 for $1. We added green and yellow curly ribbon to the handles to dress them up.
