DJ Suggestion/Average Cost

Hello Knotty Brides!

Can you ladies help me out, I live out of state and am on a pretty tight budget.  Can anyone suggest good DJ's in the Tampa area and provide how, on average, DJ's typically cost?  I'm thinking of a 4-hour reception timeframe.

Thanks!!!

I am using Frank Lebano. I would say $650 is average.

I am using Grant Hemond, I think we paid around $600.

My friend had Frank Lebano at her wedding and he was really great, however I didn't like the music but I think that was my friend's fault, lol.

    I would suggest Rob Sword.

Carlos may be a little less expensive, but I don't know for sure.  Carlos is a funny, entertaining guy.

We are using Randy with Celebrations of Tampa Bay. They have pricing information on their website. www.celebrationsoftampabay.com

My planner said anywhere from $700 to $1000 was average for five hours... I ended up signing a contract for $695 for five hours... so she was right on point with that estimate! You could probably find someone for cheaper if you look on Craig's List and aren't very picky... I used to work in radio so I was very, very picky in my selection process!! Good luck!

Second Rob Sword.  My wedding hasn't occurred yet, but he did my sisters.  He's great to work with and around $650 like everyone said.  Be sure to tell him you found him on the knot.

I am using Rob Sword as well. I think it is around $650. He is very personable and seems like he'll get the crowd moving the whole night so we went with him.

Rob Sword is a little more than that for me, but that is because he is officiating our ceremony as well. I loved him when we met him- very very nice. You should check him out.
