Bridal Party gifts????

I have 6 ppl in my bridal party, is there a certain amount I am supposed to spend on each of their gifts, depending on how much they pay for their dress/shoes? Or is there just an average amount? What have you spent? I don't want to over spend or underspend...Any help would be much appreciated! I love my friends so I want them to know it without going super broke:)

There is no set amount or anything like that. There are no average amounts...They're gifts, not tips.
Give what you can afford, as with any gift. If any of your girls think you've "underspend" I'd question your friendship lol.

  • ditto PP there's no set amount.  The amount they spend on their dress should take their budget into account and the amount you spend on their gifts should take your budget into account.

My typical gift budget for a birthday or shower is $50 and that fit into our wedding budget so that was my target for the girls' gifts.
  • I think the bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts should come from the heart, as a thank you for being party of your wedding. I 've recieved lots of different gifts from my weddings I was in, bath lotions and bath gels, jewerly, etc. all where great gifts and they don't have to be the same for all your bridesmaid, at least in my opinion, unless you want them to be.

  • opps not MY weddings, weddings that I was a bridesmaid. sorry hands type faster then my thinking
