What questions and what should I be looking for when meeting with a DJ? I am clueless ....

    I would ask about what their policy is if there is a song that you want that is not already in their catalogue, how they would handle a guest requesting a song on your "Do not play list", what they do in the event that they cannot make it to your event (sickness, family emergency, etc).

    I would ask for references also, if it wasn't a company where references would be easy to find online.

    Ask about back up plans for their equipment, have they worked an event at your venue before... hmm I will think about this some more.
