Couple things...

I am trying to do some more planning for my upcoming wedding. 

Needing recommendations for a hair salon and make-up person(s) near the Blue Springs or Lee's Summit area. 

Also curious how far in advance did you guys book your florist.  Wasn't sure when I need to make that a priority.

    I booked my florist over a year in advance but I'm also getting married on 10.10.10 so that probably changes things...I consider them a big vendor and would try to get it done asap, especially if you want your first choice.

    I booked my florist about 4 months in advance.  I didn't have any problems finding a florist, despite my wedding being a Saturday in June.  Only one of the dozen vendors I contacted was already booked.

    I can't help you with makeup because I did my own.  My sister and I went to the MAC store about a week before the wedding and had a consultation.  For what I would have sent on a makeup artist, I got loads of makeup, and we just practiced a few times before the wedding.

    My hair was done by the stylist that's been doing my hair for years.  She actually did all hair for my BMs and the moms that morning as well.  Her name is Chris Worden and she works at Salon Allure in Lee's Summit, and she's very reasonably priced.

    I just booked my florist for my 10-10-10 wedding like 2 weeks ago...i was a little late to that game, but flowers werent my priority.  I like my florist a lot though!

    I booked my florist about 5 months in advance.

    The girl that did my makeup is actually from Lee's Summit and did a fantastic job.  $35 and she came to me!  I don't have her phone number with me at the moment, but will post it later if you want!

    Here it is!  I meant to post it later that day, but forgot!  Emily Holmes (816) 835-5711.  She only did my makeup (which I absolutely loved!) but she also does hair if you're still needing that!
