Gourmet Paper Goody Bags

I'm looking for ivory, peach or chocolate colored gourmet paper goody bags for my candy buffet. I was thinking about sticking my monogram labels on them or having them personalized with a quote or our names, etc. Have any of your ladies ordered these bags & where did you find them? TIA!

I found the answer to my question so I'll share it with you ladies. I found glassine paper gourmet bags (glassine means they're lined with wax to protect any oils or moisture from seeping through the paper. You can find them on www.papermart.comunder "Paper Bags" & they offer about 5 colors. Or you can find them at www.stamponthis.com where they offer a larger variety of colors like peach & ivory, which is what I was looking for. Now I need to deicde what size I want to order. 1/4 lb. or 1/2 lb.? Any suggestions?

Also, Nashville wraps has some great bags and boxes for foods.

Personally, I would say 1/4 pound.  1/2 pound is a LOT of candy, and some guests may take a couple bags.  I think it also depends on which type of candy you're having.  If it's a lot of big round gum balls, then I would go with a bigger size.

I have a nice mix of candy: chocolate covered pretzels, nuts, mini Twix/Snickers/Hershey's, Tootsie Rolls, popcorn, cookies, small sour candies, small chewy candies. There's nothing that's really large in my candy buffet so I think I'll go with the 1/4 lb. bags & if guests want to take more bags, they're more than welcome to. I'd rather have some guests taking a couple of bags instead of feeling like they have to fill a 1/2 lb bag. That's what happens at the Sweet Factory. They give you this HUGE bag to fill, you start shopping & then you realize you just purchased $20 worth of candy when you only wanted a few pieces. :o) Thanks for your help Nilla!
