Sigh...

Tomorrow is my last day at my job. Then I'm going out to dinner with my parents and packing up most of my stuff to leave Friday morning, and moving in with my husband on Saturday.

It's not that I'm not excited to be moving in with him, I'm just sad that I have to leave my job during the middle of a recession. I so desperately want a job and to have the opportunity to work and help us earn more so we can afford a house.

Trying not to freak out (and pretty much failing) ... I suppose the economy isn't THAT bad... Umm ...

Maybe I will work starting that Etsy shop like H is always encouraging me to do ...

Hey!  We're moving twins.  I'm moving in with DH this Saturday, too!  I definitely know how hard it is leaving so much behind once you get married.  Praying that a job will come quickly for you.  What type of work are you looking for?

</div><div>My major was in journalism, but I'm looking more work corporate communications or marketing and not so much into newspapers like I have been working at since undergrad. I also consider myself to be a (very) amateur graphic designer ... I designed my own wedding invites as well as a few invites for friends' weddings. That's what my Etsy shop would be, if I ever get the nerve to open it.

Hope the move goes well. Don't stress out too much about the job. Remember God is always in control. I say go for the Etsy shop, what do you have to lose?

</div><div>I'd be willing to bet it's because most of us are young/around college age and living in areas that reflect that, so everyone's leases end end of July or early August.</div><div>

I will keep you in my prayers as you face this very big life transition.  Getting married is definitely not a joke- it impacts SO many things professionally and personally, and that transition is tough when one partner has to change jobs or give up a job.  Very tough, but you can do it!!
July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!
