helping a friend in need!

So I am making this post to help gather ideas for my best friend, who is getting married in January at the Doubletree Castle in Orlando.  She has an incredible theme- elegant venetian masquerade ball.  So far picking things out has gone great!  She is just trying to figure out how to decorate the ceremony space, which will be the rooftop.  The ceremony will take place around 5:30, and she is worried it will be too light out for candles.  Any creative ideas you can come up with will be greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance ladies!

I don't think it will be too light around 5:30 - that's not during DST, so the sun sets around 6 or so in January. I would be more concerned about it being flipping COLD on the rooftop, personally! And I think the candles would be just fine!

Perhaps create a fake altar with flowers on stands in graduated heights connected by sheer white draping.  You could also do white christmas tree lights in the palm tree planters.

I love the idea!!  You can do alot with styrofoam.  There are places that will carve it into big masks etc.  It is light weight and easy to move.  Masques would look very cool.  Kindo f a Madi Gras look!  I know people who can do this kind of work if you are interested.
