Bridesmaid Dress Color

Hi Everyone,
I need some help. I found this bridesmaid dress by WTOO and all of my bridesmaids tried it on and it is beautiful and very flattering and looks great with my dress. I had originally wanted red dresses but I love the fudge brown color and it looks great and I think will look great with multicolored bouquets. What I am wondering is about the guy's tuxes. Can they still wear black even with brown dresses and if so does anyone have any ideas for their vests/ties? Thanks for your help!

    I think both the brown and red dresses are very pretty. I personally would not do a brown BM dress with a black tux. You do have to option of getting brown tuxes, which I think some look very nice. We are actually doing brown tuxes from President's Tuxedos with their cinnamon vest and tie. If you did decide to go with the brown dresses I think I would go with a lighter colored brown underneath. Or, what are your accent colors? A pop of color underneath the guys tuxes might look nice as well.

    for my first wedding the girls wore chocolate dresses w/ a champagne sash and the guys wore black tuxes, white shirts and chocolate vest and ties....it looked just fine. this was actually a big debate back in 2006 when i was on the knot the first time around. most knotties went with the black tuxes and were happy with the outcome.

    My BM dresses are brown and we're doing black tuxes. Our photographer and the tuxedo rental company both say it turns out fine for pictures. Do what you want.

    We're also doing brown dresses. FI like the brown tux idea, so he's doing that with burnt orange vest/tie. I've seen black tuxes with brown vests too, and it looks nice. I've also seen tan tuxes which looks good.

    I am also doing an espresso brown BM dress and the men are wearing black tuxes with a dark brown vest and tie.  It looks really nice.  I was originally scared of the brown and black but I think it would be harder to match the browns and it might be a bit too monotone.

    We actually have truffle and latte dresses and just picked out tuxes last weekend.  We went with a black tux and then cognac spice vest and tie.  The girls will be carrying flowers like the one posted, so everything will still tie in together.
