DIY Venue Help

Hi there!! We are looking for a venue for this October in Dallas that allows you to byob. Loved the Filter Building, but it was booked for our date. Guest list is 120-140 and we wanted something that we could do some DIY decorating in. Any advice is very appreciated

My wedding will be at the YWCA in downtown Ft. Worth. You can bring in your own alcohol and vendors. I've done everything myself, but I would reccomend getting a wedding coordinator, or at least have a "day of" coordinator....

Filter Building probably wouldn't comfortably hold your guest list anyway... Did you try Winfrey Point? I doubt it's available, but it's also on WRL and is also completely DIY.

YWCA is a beautiful DIY venue, and lots of girls here have used it.

I think there was also a girl who used the Hurst (?) Community Center.

For 120- you could try Event 1013 in Plano.

You could also look into the Dallas Heritage Center, as professorscience said- Winfrey Point, or Lofty Spaces/Off the Grid.

In Fort Worth- I second the YWCA. There is also 809 Vickery, The FW Community Arts Center,

I'm doing 140 at Filter, and one of my friends did (with a dance floor) and it wasn't a problem to my knowledge. And she had a huge snowstorm to keep guests inside, while I will have a balls-hot summer to contend with.
