My wedding was in the Auburn/Opelika area. I booked with Christopher George through his wife, Angela. The name of his business was Disco Krisco, but I know he was going through a name change and am not sure what it is now. Chris (the DJ) did not show up for the wedding- he sent his father in law instead. Even though I provided a verbatim script of the ceremony, he didn't start playing the music for communion until more than halfway through communion. I provided a disc of our recessional song (yes, I provided it) because we wanted THAT song. He didn't play it. We recessed in silence. After the mothers were being escorted out he started the song. I provided the DJ a list of over 100 songs to play during the reception. He didn't play them. He played artists we HATE. He didn't fade the songs into each other, there were several seconds of awkward silence between each song. The music sounded terrible. We had a very nice venue with in-house surround sound but he said he didn't know what that meant and so he set up huge speakers IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AISLE. Yes ladies. It was pretty bad. I left my wedding reception very early because I was so upset. After all of the guests left, he yelled and cursed at my mother because she hadn't paid him yet, but he hadn't even told her how much she owed him. We paid him, because it wasn't worth going to court over (I moved a thousand miles away the day after, anyway), but he ruined the day for everyone.
