Videographer?

Hey ladies!  FH and I weren't planning on having any sort of video done at our wedding because even the cheapest one I could find ($795) is waaaaaaaaaay out of our price range.  Do any of you ladies know of anyone in the area that could do quality work for cheaper?  Or do you think at that point we'd just be better off having a friend do it for free?

honestly videography was the least of my concerns so we went with the least expensive option-and it's still just over $1000.  have a friend do it or use that money to buy flip videos and put them on the tables for people to use.

There is a web company that will send you 5 flip cameras and you mail them back and they upload the footage and splice together a video.  For the life of me I cannot remember their name though.  I think the cost was around $500.

We ended up hiring McCormick Media for $1,500.  We did not have this in our budget at all but after having sooooooo many people comment on how I would regret it, and how their kids watch the video all the time and, as with my closest friends, being able to see their mom and hear her speak (she passed away 4 years ago) is PRICELESS to them, we decided to go for it.  Her work is amazing and has the feel we're going for.

    Good luck deciding!

I am hiring Rebecca to shoot a raw footage for me, see her website below.

I don't need any fancy, and I think it will serve the purpose.
