Bubble as we go back down the aisle?

My wedding and reception are in the same venue and we won't be leaving until much later in the evening. So I thought about giving out our bubbles with the programs and asking people to blow bubbles as the bride & groom march down the aisle in the recessional part. I love the look of this caught on film and other wise I think the bubbles will be more of a waste in the dark. I could attach a card to them that explains what we want.

What do you guys think?

we have the same issue, one location leaving later, we are thinking of using sparklers instead of bubbles.
but yeah If i got the bubbles before the ceremony I probly wouldnt think about blowing them down the aisle without some direction, maybe have some kids hand them out and let people know?

I'm thinking about using Vista Print again ( need a couple things anyway) and printing up a business card to attach to the bottle with ribbon. I can print the instructions on it. And hand them out as people go into the ceremony. More than likley set a table up on the patio and place the bubbles and programs there, along with a sign that explains when to blow them too.

I generally dont like things that have to come with instruction manuals, but you can make them cute, most people tie ribbons or something aroung them anyway.

I know, me either, but its the only way, short of having it annouced (shutters) before we start down the aisle. Plus I can always use word of mouth to help too.

Ohhh I am doing this too!! I actually wrote a little poem to attach to the bubbles, feel free to take it if you want! I am having the bubbles passed out when they get their programs and the bubbles will have either pink, lime green or orange ribbon tied to them (my wedding colors) with this poem:
When we walk down the aisle
As husband and wife
Please blow this bubbles
As we begin our new life.

We love our pictures, so help us
get the perfect recessional picture.
Attached is a bottle of bubbles,
please blow them at the bride and groom
as they walk down the aisle
to "leave" the ceremony.

talk to the venue and make sure they will allow it...some places don't inside for fear of spillage and soap spots.

Not to worry about the venue. Its a local lake park pavilion, they have no rules about anything thrown except is must be clean up if not biodegradable

I also just attached a small tag to the bubbles that read: "Please use these bubbles to make our first few moments as Husband & Wife Picture Perfect" We will be placing them on the aisle seats at the ceremony.

I love this idea. I am getting married on the 4th of July this year and am planning on using sparklers later in the evening when we leave for the night. But my MOH gave me a bunch of bubbles leftover from her March wedding and I wasn't sure what to do with them, if anything. Now I am thinking I may do this when we walk back down the aisle as husband and wife. Thanks for the idea!
