Hello? Is anyone here? Good Morning!

Morning ladies!

Yesterday we went to the outlet mall, my son loves spending my money ;)

Today we have to move mattresses around for our new ones to be delivered. YAY! So, I'm taking the boy to the mall I work at for shoes since he didnt find what he liked at the OM.

What's up?

  • Morning.

I woke up this morning with a whole bunch of stuff running through my head that I have to get done at work today. It's going to be a crazy busy week, trying to get everything completed  before I leave on Thursday. Eep!

    Where you going AZ?

  • Hi, guys.

I'm sort of here. I have one ear to the phone trying to explain to VISA for the fourth time that I have already cancelled my balance protection insurance and have no intention of paying $189 every month for coverage. If I get told "ma'am, you've never called" once more, I'm going to throttle someone through the phone.

Aside from that, happy Monday! :)

Sept! You have a watermelon! Are you ANY closer?

Do you get the name of the rep you talk to everytime you do call with a confirmation #? Make sure you do it this time, I think this idiots found an easy way to make money.

  • Omg, KD. I don't know if I'm any closer. I keep having contractions, but when they start to ramp up pretty good, they stop. I'm so frustrated.

And yeah, I have dates, times, names, etc. from EVERY. TIME. i've called. I swear, they're so effing stupid. I've even showed them where they've reversed the charges on previous premium payments because of cancellation, and they still can't find a way to fix this. I'm so annoyed. See, it wouldn't be so bad if it was just a regular VISA, but we were contemplating switching banks and they came to us with this sweet deal on balance transfers - 0% interest for the life of the transfer. So we transferred both car loans over, and the small line of credit we had. Great, but now this insurance that used to cost us like, $2 a month is ramped up because our overall balance has shot up. GRRR. We're still saving boatloads, but I don't want to pay for insurance on the balance.

Well thats just stupid! I can see why you are getting aggravated. Have you talked to the manager?

How long will your doctor allow you to go?
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
  • I spoke to a manager today who was very apologetic, so hopefully something comes of it. I've spoken to a few other managers who were also very apologetic, lol, so we'll see. I'm making a trip to my branch today to see if they can do anything for me.

The doctors will let you go as long as 42 weeks, provided that the baby is happy and not in any stress on the inside. They tried a natural induction on Friday, but while it caused contractions, they just didn't stay. We'll be trying again this Friday if nothing happens. *sigh*

Now I see that the look of misery on women's faces in the last week of pregnancy is totally par for the course, and I absolutely understand why they look that way.

Yep, make sure you get names and keep track of the dates you call.  I called yp.com a bazillion times to cancel a advertisement for my business.  They continued to charge me for months.  Finally got them idiots to waive a shitton of charges because I had proof I tried to cancel over and over again.
ETA: Just saw your post that you have all this info.  That blows they just cant get it right.  Not that difficult.

  • Bless your heart Sept, sounds like the squirt is in no rush.  Hopefully he decides soon to make his grand entrance.

Have a great trip Dancer!  I've only driven through Seattle but it's on my list of cities to visit.

Jealous of the new mattresses KD.  I still love ours but it's getting to the age we need to start thinking about replacing it.  Of all of the money I've ever spent that mattress is the one big purchase I haven't regretted for a second.

Pretty quiet weekend for us; lots of chores and errands.  H took today off to rest after training in unbearable humidity (for us anyway) and I'm jealous.  But I've got to make sure I've got vacation time for my trip to Nashville in October so I best suck it up.

  • morning!

I am starting off my final week at work.... basically wrapping up any outstanding issues I have here. wahooo. I had a fantastic weekend too. We were in Pittsburgh- my cousin married an awesome girl from there. I have 14 first cousins. 13 of us made it out there. We are all pretty close so it was a phenomenal trip. I love just hanging out with them and all my aunts and uncles :)

  • Dot, I vote you take the day off to ice your back before it gets worse.

Star, that is so cool.  I have such a small family, and so does H.  While it makes remembering birthdays a helluva lot easier, I envy people with big families.

  • dot- lol big families are great. But it is hard- we can't all get together often. At this point, it's holidays and big events. But a lot of us see eachother when we can. There are only 4 girls in that group and our ages are all over the place (10, 19, 26, and 27 (me)). But when we are together it's a big party.

  • Afternoon! I'm late to the party, I have staffing on Monday mornings at work.

My weekend was okay. FI and I are in the final stages of building a huge deck on our house and we're both burned out. These last few tasks to finish are like pulling teeth. We did, unsuccessfully, go patio furniture shopping. And successfully go to a cake tasting. There's never an unsuccessful moment when free cake is involved.

Seattle is amazing! Have an awesome time there! I lived there for three years and loved it.
