Anybody use Freddie James DJ?

Hi!

Has anybody used freddie james dj for their wedding? We are looking at them for our October wedding.

    My wedding isn't until Dec 2012, but my fiance and I have already booked Freddie James for our wedding.  Of all the dozens of DJs we looked at, he was the most personable.  He has sent us tons of information and two DVDs with samples.  He has a pretty big staff, with lots of experienced DJs to fit any style couple.  My fiance and I are younger, so we picked a DJ to fit our age-range, but he has male, female, old, and young DJs to fit any wedding.  Also, once we booked him, we received a bunch of info on song planning.  We also have a custom play list on his website that we can edit for the reception playlist.  You should also know that he has assured us that on the day of the wedding he has back-up equipment ready in the event anything happens to the stuff he is using - which is good to know if some tech problem happened.  Hope this sort-of helps, even though he hasn't actually played my wedding yet!

    nlzazik, right now they have a special for 5 hours for 699. 6 hours for 799 i think. You have to book by may. We have decided to go with them. For the money and the other recommendations I have gotten it sounds like a good deal.

    Hi,
    My brother and my mom (who got remarried a few years ago) both used Freddie James and loved them. The dance floor was packed, the music was awesome, and they were professional.

    My best friend used him for her wedding and we looked into them as well. I would use one of his djs, but not him. He seems to be slipping a bit (my guess is due to age).
