    Well since I have so much time I figured I can crack away at projects until they are done.  But I also want people to beable to choose 1 or 2 things if thats what they want.

    I love it! You are so right about how most of the budget wedding sites are for people with budgets of over $5,000. I am sick and tired of budget wedding advice consisting of things like, "Have one band instead of two" and "serve a three-course meal instead of a seven-course meal". I will definitely read your blog :)

    im on the same boat as you. im a student and my boyfriend is older with a steady job, but are still trying to do a budget wedding. we dont want to spend 20-30,000 dollars on people we barely know. (long distance family, cousins, ect.). weve decided on a budget of about 8k, 10k including honeymoon (which will be challenging since were in the greater philadelphia area) but weve found a great wedding site that will hold the ceremony and reception for 1.5k. instead of a band, we'll have a ipod hookup and speakers, the food will be an appitizer buffet, and no alcohol since our wedding will likely be in the early afternoon (sites are always cheaper on weekdays and the morning). were also debating on whether to cut the children out of the guestlist. if we do, we'd be 20 people less. our site only holds 150 people max (with no dance floor). with the kids it will be about 110 people, 85 if we dont. any suggestions?
