Mori Lee Dresses

Has anyone looked at any Mori Lee dresses by Madeline Gardner?  If so, what did you think of them?  How did they fall price-wise?  Average?  More than average?  I can't find pricing info anywhere and I was curious if I should stop looking now before I fall in love with a dress online.

Thanks!

Not sure about price range, but here's what I would do. I would pick a dress from the designer similar in style to the one you like and than start calling bridal salons in your area. That should give you a fairly good estimate of price and won't completely dash your hopes about the dress you really like since that's not the one you're asking about. If it's sky high, then move on. Or if you're game, just call about the dress you like right away. You can usually get a list of stores that carry the designer off their website. I called around to all the Pittsburgh stores that carried Belsoie dresses to find the best price for my BM and didn't have a single store give me a hard time for inquiring about the price. GL!

I had a Mori Lee dress!!!  The first dress I fell in love with was about $800 and unfortunately the dress was out of stock.  The shop found another Mori Lee dress that was some what similar but did't have it in stock in her shop.  So since the dress was so similar I bought it.  She gave it to me at the price of the original dress.  The second dress was from her new line and it cost about $1000.00 and got it for $800.  Not a bad deal.  But I am assuming that her dresses are about average i price.  I tried on several dresses and they were no more than $1k.

    Thanks, ladies.

Cheryl -- your dress was gorgeous!  Thank you for the info.  That makes me feel better!  Some of her dresses are kind of... out there... but the more traditional dresses are just right for what I have in my mind of what I want my dress to look like.  I'm really excited to look now!  Do you have to make appointments with the salon to go try dresses or can you just show up?

InkedMegs, there is actually a Mori Lee trunk show in September at MB Bride in greensburg. They say you can get 10% off your dress during that time.. So if you find one you really like, maybe you can hold off on buying and go during the show to get it even cheaper, or go during the show to see all of the styles available..
