    Thanks for the heads up, but I am definitely wondering if that bride failed to call and check in with the florist the week of the wedding.   It just seems so avoidable if you touch base with vendors.

    I've made sure to ask questions about that as ive gone along so i know what responsibilites are expected of me as it gets close. Seems many vendors rely on the customer or a coordinater if they have one and feel the need to touch base as it gets close. I personaly would feel the need to touch base with all vendors at least month of and know with several i'll still have details to review anyway! Strange about this post, sorry link (no offence at all to you aniadenver)  is so far the main one I have to do close to the date contact with IS my florist for room number & final payment that month, etc. Wondering if the florist typeo'd the date and the bride didnt catch it on the paperwork. Thats an awful story to happen to that girl but something's just missing from the poster's story. When I was helping my cousin plan her wedding we read a bashing warning post about a bakery that cancelled on short notice but it turned out they never sent a deposit to book them so by the time they did the bakery had to decline, not cancell.
