Here we are 18 days away from the wedding and 4 days away from my bachelorette party and my sister, MOH, may very well have gallstones and need her gallbladder removed. She's had a fever since Friday and went to the doctor's yesterday and tests came back showing possible gallstones. She has an appointment for an ultrasound tomorrow morning to determine if that's really the problem. I'm hoping and praying that if that's the case, she has her surgery and is back on her feet before the wedding. I will be horribly sad if she's not at my bachelorette party this weekend but that wouldn't be the end of the world. Please keep her in your T&P and hope she's back on her feet soon and ready to party at the wedding!!

Thanks ladies for the support! The more we look up about gallstones, the more we realize that her symptoms are spot on. Also one of the causes is rapid weight loss and low-calorie diet. She's lost almost 70 lbs since January! I'm quite certain now that she's going to have to have surgery but we have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out for sure.

I guess there's nothing we can do about it now. I hope she feels better soon and is all fixed up for the wedding. Ugh...

T&P headed your sister's way. I had my Gall bladder out in May and was laid up for about three days. After that, I tired easily, but was able to be up and around. So I think she should be feeling much better and ready to go by your wedding.

On a positive note, my aunt had her gallbladder out last month & it was outpatient surgery & a quick recovery. I hope the same for your sister, if that's what has to be done.
