Botanical garden engagement shoot

Has anyone had their engagement photographs done at the nybg?  I'm kind of confused if there is a fee.  It says that handheld cameras are allowed.  So, I can just go with my photographer and have him take photos of FI and I?

    There's a rule that once you use a tripod you need to have permits.  Central Park has the same rule.  As long as your photographer doesn't use a tripod you should be fine but I'd call them up to double check.

    agree with the previous post.  I think they cant be "professional" but you can always say your photographer is your cousin sally with a fancy camera.  jeje
