Walking down the aisle without music?

So Im putting my wedding together in little over 2 months of preperation, and on a strict budget. The wedding will be outside and at a state park becuase of the budget It will be too much to pay someone to play music. I also believe that a battery powered stero would look cheap ? Any suggestions? Because its outside I don't think it would be too akward would it ?

I think a battery-powered stereo would be better than nothing. Try and find something with a decent quality speaker and then you can hook your ipod up to it.

  • If you have any friends or family members that are musically inclined it would be ok to ask them to either sing or play an instrument. One wedding I went to the groom’s cousin was in either JHS or HS and she played her flute. Another wedding someone sang a cappella on the walk and during the candle lighting. You could ask it to be done as a favor or a wedding present.
  • I recently went to an outdoor wedding that had a DJ that was playing music off his laptop... the laptop's battery died right before the brides song was supposed to come on! she had to walk down the aisle with no music... it was awkward and she was soooo upset she was balling!
