Did neone else do blue heels for their wedding ? I told my fiance I was thinking about wearing blue heels for our wedding and he did NOT like that idea !

I guess because he doesnt think its wedding"ish". But then again he doesnt have any style ! I think it looks so sharp ! So did u buy ur shoes first or ur gown ? I found a pair i really really LOVE. I want them so bad !

Why yes, yes I am. FI has no idea, nor do I care what he likes, haha. I have not shown him one thing of my wedding attire.

He will love anything I am wearing on the wedding day though. I am not worried. Why did your FI not like the idea??

I wore blue but that was just because I liked them. I had the dress first, and I'm tall, so I picked heels that weren't too tall or short so I didn't have to get the dress hemmed

For most people though, I don't think it matters as long as you just have the shoes befoe alterations so they can measure the length properly.

im wearing blue heels. same as lemma's. i think its a cute idea for my something blue. im not wearing a garter so i wasnt sure how else to incorporate it.

And besides, if you pitch it to him that this way, you'll be able to wear them again instead of getting plain white satin shoes that you're probably never going to wear again, (and waste the money) he'll probably budge. Otherwise, just wear them anyway.

Ooops, nevermind. Just saw what you wrote haha. I would say just wear them anyway. You wearing blue shoes isn't going to ruin his day.

And I actually bought my shoes first because they were exactly what I was looking for in my size (which is rare!). So I bought my wedding shoes about 11 months out. Then bought my dress a few months later.

I bought my shoes first AND I wore green..... DH, FI at the time, bought them for me... His mother and other guests didnt like it... But its NOT their wedding OR their feet so HA!

I am wearing blue shoes too (the color of my BM dresses) but I havent really started looking yet. Im having trouble decidint wether to go with a heel because that would make me taller than FI....
