Re: Best Proposal contest

  • My fiancé and I met 3 1/2 years ago.  What started out as a simple friendship blossomed into a romance.  I had finally found someone who was my friend, lover and confidant.  We had casually talked of getting married, always knowing it was going to happen but we didn't want to rush anything.  In June of 2012 we were wonderfully surprised to find out that we were going to have a baby due February 2013!  Early on we decided that we did not want to know the gender of the baby.  So as the months and ultrasounds progressed, there was always a moment when we were told to close our eyes as the doctor checked the development of the reproductive organs.  So my 32 week ultrasound was progressing the same as all of the rest.  My boyfriend was by my side holding my hand as we looked in awe at our little baby on the monitor.  About halfway through, the tech politely asked us to close our eyes and she moved to the lower extremities.  A few minutes later she asked if I would open my eyes and read the screen.  To my utter surprise, there was a picture of the profile of our baby with the words, "My daddy would love to know will you marry him. He loves you very much."  I was so overcome with emotion that I began crying instantly.  Of course my answer was yes.  We now have a photo of the ultrasound and are eagerly awaiting to tell our little one the role that he/she played in our love story.
  • Our first date was at the movies. We watch The odd Life Of Timothy green. I tried not to cry but it was way to cute. So after day dreaming of million proposal I decided that it should be at the theater. So I decided I was going to do a super cheesy action movie where I was going to hint at marriage with action lines. Well after facing the fear and getting approval from her father. I started it, I wrote the script originally with ninjas. But finding out my friends didn't all have ninja costumes and working on a budget just ask them to dress up like rich assassins. I hired a local director who does local artist music videos. The filming was the most fun and after convincing her father that he should play the main boss that gives me his blessing I knew this was going to be epic. So a week before the film I was hanging out with her and her dad. I purposely asked if her father wanted to go to the movies with us next week. After four winks he finally said oh yes and invited the whole family lol. She had no idea, she thought her father was excited we invited him somewhere. All week she kept talking about the movie saying I cant wait to see warm bodies. I was all I hope I can make it I have a meeting at 6 but I can probably make it to the 730 showing with your family that night. So I got to the theater early and they let me wait up in the projection room. While I watched her being seated in the front row. I was texting her I am on my way. Well the lights dimmed and The previews started mine was the first one. "THE YEAR IS 2013 and The World has been Devastated by a lose of love but one man still believes." please go watch this awesome proposal. On youtube "charles casanova worlds greatest proposal". And watch one the cutest and most epic proposals ever.
