Videographer recommendations?

Ladies that have received the final product - who did you go with for videography and were you happy with the video?

We were really happy with our video and the professionalism of Fran Gagnon.  We got the final product a little bit earlier than expected and had a highlight clip really soon after our wedding.

I love love love the videographer we used!  He's absolutely amazing.  So talented.  His name is Matt Fink and his company is DMO Films.  He's not the cheapest option out there, but I was willing to pay for the quality and his amazing editing abilities.  He's truly gifted.  I also liked that he records everything in HD so you're getting the best quality currently out there.  I'd say he was one of our favorite vendors, and generally just a really nice guy.

You can see the sneak peek trailer he made for our wedding here: www.dmofilms.com/blog/?p=66

Good luck!  Where in NH are you?  We're heading up to Lake Ossipee in October for Halloween weekend.  It's so nice up there.

I've seen several full videos from them, but I'mnot yet married so I have to wait for mine! But DL Productions honestly blew me out of the water with their quality. They shoot with cameras that look like photographers so people don't ham it up as much as a traditional videographer. They actually bill themselves as a cinematographer, which I thought was just a gimmick but it is honestly like a documentary. The quality is absolutely superb!!!

I'm in the same boat as calindi...I'm not getting married til next year but we also chose DL Video Productions for the reasons listed above.  I have never seen a videographer who I was more impressed with.  You can see his work on the website:

I second Don from vividography... he hasn't done our wedding yet but I cry every time he posts a new video blurb and I don't even know the people in it!

My one piece of advice is to ask for a full video as it was delivered to the bride and groom, not just the little preview videos. This was a make-or-break factor for us for sure with one videographer who I thought we would book until I saw the video. I watched it with my FSIL, and both of us were really underwhelmed with the subpar audio and shaky video. So whoever you thinknyou wanna book, asknthem to mail you a full wedding or two so you can see the full product!

We used Don from Vividography. He was wonderful to work with, and I love my video so very very much. You can see my video highlight from them in my siggy!

I totally agree on this.  When we interviewed videographers we asked to see full videos.  Some were definitely not as good as others.  It's just like with photographers.  You always want to see a full range of what they can do, not just little snip-its.

Melissa, that's right near my grandparents! They are in Grantham, and my grandma works in Lebanon! I heard about the shopping plaza with that Japanese hibachi place being under water after Irene!

Another vote for DL Productions. I haven't seen the video yet, but they were great on the day. Arrived earlier than they said they would, left later and worked very well with my photographer to make it a seamless experience.

Please beware of dl video productions. We already paid him, got married past januay and still havnt gotten the final video. Even worse.. He will not email is back or return any of our phonecalls. He even defriended us on facebook. We have lost communication with him for about 4 months now. We are currently in the process of taking him to court. Please beware.
