Speaking of couponing/deals...

Have any of you taken advantage of the free gifts with registries out there? I certainly have, and have received a TON of free gifts. It's kind of like couponing, I guess, you have to send in a bunch of forms and register for stuff... but here is a list of what I have received:

From BBB:
Knork Forks (4)
Sophie Conran Creme Brulee set
Cuisinart Recipe Set

Williams Sonoma:
All-Clad Stainless Steel Odd-Size Measuring Cup Set, including 2/3 cup, 3/4 cup and 1-1/2 cup.
Wüsthof Pull-Apart Shears
Le Creuset red Petite Casserole from our stoneware collection
Calphalon Unison 8" Fry Pan

Circulon
Circulon Contempo 2 Qt. Petite Saucepan

Calphalon
 7" Satoku Knife

VILLEROY AND BOCH
Free Bridal Gift of (2) Wine Glasses in the pattern of your choice (THIS was soo good that I ordered 2 more of the glasses to have a set. They're gorgeoussss)

BLOOMINGDALES:
Delonghi Stainless Steel Espresso Cup Set (2 sets, cause I used 2 addresses ;) )
Gien France bottle coasters

I feel like I am forgetting some stuff, cause it's a lot. But, here are the links to where you can get some sweet free stuff! (OH and I am also still waiting on some other things to come in! YAY!)

2010- http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1163795 (some of these still work, some don't.)

I was about to put this up,but didn't feel it warranted a whole new thread, so I'm going to stick it here, if you don't mind CAB:

Butter London nail polish (which is really awesome and has the best names) 30% off through November 23rd. Enter code CELEBRATE11 at checkout. I know it's short notice, but it's a great deal.

Yeah, you have to register for certain dollar amount of things... then you send off the forms with copies of what you have registered for, and then you get your gifts! BBB is a PAIN to do this with, though. I had a major issue with them, because they would not give me the forms (you have to get the forms in store, and they check to see that you've already registered for those items). Long story short, not only did I get my forms and items, I also got a 25 gift card for complaining! LOL!!! I hate being "that person", but sometimes, it's necessary!

We got a set of heart-shaped champagne flutes at Crate & Barrel for registering in-store (always do the intitial registry in-store as they'll give you comp'd gifts sometimes!)  We also got a recipe book from Williams Sonoma.  BBB didn't give us anything, but they had a special registry "consultant" who went through the whole store with me (FI didn't go to that one).  I thought it would be annoying, but it was helpful to be able to ask her questions as we went.

I plan to do some of that free stuff at BBB and some at Crate & Barrel!  WS has some, but they're purchase only, and I didn't want those things actually purchased.

I registered at BBB a couple weeks ago. I never heard of something like this. What do I need to do? I would love some free things! We're starting with next to nothing. ;)
