Progress on Planning?

I'm reading over everyone's posts since I just joined this club officially, and I am overwhelmed at how far along you all are! I know weddings can be planned on MANY different timelines but I'm curious now- what all is "finished" for you of the biggies like...

Date
Venue
Vendors (photog!)
Dress
BP wear
STDs
Invites
epix

I got engaged 6 weeks ago but STILL have been unable to confirm a date (we THINK 6-29) and venue so everything else is up in the air too. I live on one continent and am getting married on another and am dependent on family for help there so that is the reason for the slow progress.

What's done and what's next on your list?

    I've been engaged for almost a year (12/29) and honestly I've just started.  You are fine!  So far Kevin (fiance) and I have done....

    Date (6/22/13)
    My dress
    Narrowed down BM dresses
    Ceremony and Reception Venue
    Engagement Pictures
    Save the Dates
    Booking Hotels for out of town guests

    This weekend we're working on:

    Registering
    Talking to a potential officiant

    I feel like I'm finally ready to plan this!! :)

    I've been engaged since last December, so I have a lot done at this point:

    Venue (ceremony and reception)
    Food
    Linens
    Centerpiece bits and parts
    Photographer
    DJ/lighting
    Officiant
    Hotel block
    WP asked
    BM dresses selected and started to be ordered
    My dress is ordered, just waiting for it to come in
    Started discussing my details meeting with our coordinator, so I'm putting together a list for them
    Silk flowers for the majority of our flowers purchased
    BM and GM gifts already ordered/in our hands
    Save the dates sent
    Website made and sent to family
    I just asked a friend to be a reader this weekend
    I went and got corks from the local wineries for escort cards
    Started putting together a must have photo list for our photographer
    About a quarter of our playlist has been uploaded to our DJ's online builder
    RD location reserved
    Caterer for RD selected (not deposited on yet though)
    Engagement pictures



    Right now our working on it list includes:

    Details, details, details!
    Groom/GM attire
    Wedding rings
    Making a florsit deposit (Friday!)
    Making a baker deposit (next Wednesday!)
    My accesories
    Ceremony
    Invitiations
    Details meeting
    Menu selection/tasting
    Registering



    I think that's it... I'm probably forgetting a lot.

    I've been engaged for awhile now but only just now got a budget to work with...
    Since september we have:
    Ceremony Venue
    Reception Venue
    (included catering)
    Dress/Shoes
    Picked out Bridesmaid Dresses
    STD printed
    Favors
    Cake Topper
    Most of the Reception Decor (I bought a whole lot of it off of a knottie a month ago!)

    This weekend we are booking a photographer and a DJ
    I'm negotiating with some florists so hopefully have them booked by next weekend...

    Not trying to alarm you but if you are dependant on family help push that date as far back as you are comfortable with. My date is June 1st and I'm already running into alot of vendors being booked for that date.

    We've been engaged since May. Started planning right away for our June 8th wedding. 

    So far we have the following items completed...
    -Venue (Ceremony, Cocktails & Reception)
    -Caterer 
    -Florist
    -Chuppah
    -Lighting
    -Photographers (Engagement session scheduled for January)
    -My Gown (ordered) & Accessories (purchased)
    -My Rings (purchased)
    -Save the Dates (sent in October)
    -Wedding Website complete
    -Hotel Blocks for OOT Guests
    -Registries complete
    -Table Number Frames (purchased)

    Items currently working on...
    -The Band! 
    -Officiant (we're meeting with our Rabbi next week)
    -Selecting Linens & Napkins
    -Maid of Honor still looking at dresses
    -FI handling Honeymoon arrangements

    -Finalize Menu selections w/ Caterer

    I have been engaged for a few years. Our date is for June 2, 2013. We booked out venue August of 2011. I have alot of the big stuff done.i stilI

    Over the past year I have:

    My dress ordered
    Bridesmaids dresses ordered.
    Honeymoon booked
    Hotel room to get ready in booked (also for wedding night)
    Hair and makeup booked
    Harpist booked
    Dj booked
    Photograher booked
    Videographer booked
    Bought DIY invitations
    Printing my STD myself (right now actually)
    My officiant is already picked out
    Registry is done

    I still have to:

    Find shoes and jewelry
    Tuxs need to be picked out
    Work on vows
    Figure out a hairstyle
    Book limo
    Look at wedding rings
    Go over menu
    Seating chart
    etc.....(mind drawing blank)

    When my fiance is off from schook during his winter break we will probably get some more planning done.

    engagment pictures taken 
    save the dates out
    website done
    wedding bands picked out and bought
    flowers booked
    cake booked
    BM gifts done
    pastor booked
    registry done
    honeymoon booked


    I still have to:

    pick out a veil and hair accessories (im doing that tomorrow)
    book hair and makeup
    and lots of little DIY projects to do over break :)


    I have alot done because I did alot over my breaks from school. :)
