Cake Disaster!

Just want to warn all brides about Just a Bite Bakery. I purchased a cake for 100 people and all I got was a cake that hardly fed 35 people. The Venue had to cut the cake slices paper thin in order to try and feed 45 people. It was so upsetting and embarrassing.
Hardly anyone was able to receive cake. I didnt even get to try my own cake! Cry

    Jeez! I guess they take their name "Just a Bite" a little too literal..you only get a bite! How awful. Thanks for the warning. I hope you get some money back!!

    My good friend ordered her cake from there, as well, and the opposite happened. Hers was only for 75(not sure exactly, but somewhere in that range) and they had more than half left after the specified number of people ate at least one, and in some cases two, fairly large slices. In addition, they instructed the hotel not to feed any of the guests who showed up after the dinner (many of our friends only came to the dance part). 

    That's BS, IMO. I mean, you paid for the cake and it's not your fault if it was made way too large... you should be able to give pieces to anyone who wants one! 

    Anyway, after hearing your story and seeing in person the fiasco that happened at my friend's wedding, I will definitely NOT be using Just A Bite.
