Can you believe it'll be 5 months in just a few days!!??

What are your to do's this month?

Me: Ordering sticker tags for our "mint to be" favors
Debate on ordering mini cake vodka as favors
Work on those darned tulle pomanders
Daisypath Anniversary tickers

    5 months?! I'm freaking out. 

    Start assembling invites as soon as they get here. 
    Figure out what the heck I am doing for a card box. 
    Start making my star lanterns that will hang over the dance floor.
    Order floating candles and votives for centerpieces.
    Work on making signs for random things around the reception: gift tables, escort card table, bar, bathroom, etc. 
    Finish bridesmaids jewelry.
    Get FH to figure out what he's getting his GM.
    Figure out my hair/makeup for the day of. (it's a long story. . . for another post)
    Go ring shopping for FH.
    Take FH to the tux shop and figure out what he and his guys will wear. 

    I'm sure there's lots more but this is what I thought of off the top of my head. Lots of this doesn't necessarily have to be Feb. but should get done before we drive back to MI in March for my Spring Break so we don't have to ship a ton of stuff before the wedding.

    We just got confirmation on the permit for our wedding venue this week and did our gift registries yesterday. Next on my list is to send out save-the-dates (I'm making/printing my own) and get the times finalized on the park we are using for our rehearsal dinner and reception.

    I'm also considering ideas for my bridesmaid gifts. I originally wanted to buy them all necklace and earring sets to match their dresses but that looks way out of budget now that my job situation has changed. I started considering knitting them all shawls but I am not sure I will have the time. I won't know what I can afford or what I'll have time to make for a few months yet, so that may still be a while coming.

    Next on my list is:
    Send deposit to florist
    Block hotel rooms (research done, just need to sign contract)
    Get BMs to pick and order their dresses
    Order invitations
    Figure out how to tell FI that my mother is coming to the food tasting

    Register for gifts.
    Find someone to marry us
    Pick tuxes
    Decide when to order invites
    Set in stone guest list
    Make up trial
    Figure out hair
    Decide if I still like the centerpieces

    Think thats it.

    1. Finalize caterer
    2. Start getting addresses for guest list/start looking at invitations
    3. Order BM's and Junior BM's dresses
    4. Cake tastings and order cake
    5. Make sure groomsmen, FIL and father go to tux fitting by 2/23
    6. Start finalizing centerpeices and decor for reception and ceremony
