    I'm getting married there in 18 days.. :)

    I am also getting married there in September :) My experience so far with them has been amazing! They worked with my budget, they get back to me in a timely manner, they are very organized, and I just LOVE the look and feel of the place. It was the only venue I looked at and fell in love with it. We are having our reception in the pelican room. The view of the water is great! I highly recommend working with Sarah she has been great!

    The view at sunset is absolutely breathtaking!  They're totally geared  for weddings and "get it."  I really think you'll be happy with it for your wedding!!!!

    I have been researching online, since we will be planning our Tampa wedding (where FH is from) while living in Boston.  So far any commnuications with the Rusty Pelican have gone really well and they seem to be one of the only decent places that will fit with our budget/100+ guest list.

    I guess I am just looking for any advice, stories, etc from other brides who have had or will have their wedding there.  Mostly, were the vendors prices also reasonable?  This is the one thing I am unable to get info about from RP until we commit to giving them a deposit. I just want to make sure the vendors are not outrageous, as that might be a deal-breaker for us (and I don't want to waste any time while in the area in Nov to scout locations...trying to make it our only trip if possible before the big day).

    Any info, comments, etc (positive or negative) are greatly appreciated!

    Hello! i had my wedding reception at the RP in May 2008.  I'm over on the WCF Nest board now and I haven't came on this board in a while, but decided to stop by to post about an event I heard about.  Anyway, overall I had a great experience there.  If you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask!
