Where to get bags for welcome bags?

Good morning.  So working on those last minute details, we are putting together welcome bags for our guests that will be staying on property.  I'm looking for where to buy the bags.  We would need about 50 of them.  One place I found online had great bags at a great price, but then the shipping was just insane.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

  • Oriental Trading Co. - Got mine there, they aren't huge, but are sturdy.  They hold 2 bottles of watter, 2 bags of chips, and headache medicine just fine.  I did want to put a bag of cookies in there too, but ran out of room - so the cookies go back to Costco ;)

We bought ours at AC Moore.  They have basic colors... I think it's 13 for 5.99 or something?

  • I bought my bags at Old Navy... they had large bags for $1.

  • We used white paper lunch bags from Wal Mart and we're printing the labels to put on them.

  • I found some really nice ones at Michaels. I'd look there or a similar crafts store.

  • Maybe the dollar store? Or a party supply store, like Party City or something similar.

  • We got baskets from the dollar store to put in our guests hotel rooms. There are cute but a little bit more pricier baskets at the hobby stores (Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Jo Ann Fabric etc.)  Smile
