Oahu WC Cost

Sooo...I've been trying to find a coordinator and I'm not sure what I want/need.
Our wedding isn't going to be huge (20-30 ppl), but since we're going to be having it at a beach house, we pretty much need everything.

I know I definitely need a Day Of Coordinator...I would LOOOVE full coordination (just to keep my stress level down!), but I don't think my budget can afford it...and it kinda makes me light headed to spend $3000 on full WC. BUT, i've heard (from coordinators) that if you use them, they get so many vendor discounts that their fee becomes a wash. Have any of you ladies had experience with this? Do you still get that many discounts with a wedding this size??

    I have Katy Castillo. I think she's pretty avg on cost for full coord. She has been a tremendous help keeping us on budget and even lower than projected. She helps me figure out where to spend money and where i can scrimp. Being from the mainland and having such a stressful job, I can't imagine doing it without her. For 20-30 though I'm not sure if you need one, I guess that depends on your personality. I feel I've really needed one through every step since I can't actually have face to face meetings with vendors.

    we used Hawaii Weddings and Events for full service and she saved us alot of many in different areas and found us vendors we wouldn't have found on our own.  She had different packages to choose from and I know I really would have been lost when it came to handling rentals

    We went with Aloha from Hawaii Weddings. Suzanne did a great job and was very affordable in our opinion. We booked the I Do package added on limo, music, flower aisle, and then booked other vendors (photo, video, flowers, make up, reception dinner and cake) ourselves.
