My fiance and I live in OC but all of our friends and family are on the East Coast. We want to have our wedding here and ideally it would be at a home we could rent and use for a few days (or a week) for everything from lodging to the ceremony and the reception. Obviously many of our guests would have to get hotel rooms but I'd like to have some close family and friends stay with us at this "beach house" so it is more like a vacation for them. In my mind I'm picturing a house by the beach with a pool and a yard where we could have a quick ceremony and then have tables set up outside for the party. Does anyone know of any homes like this or anyone who has done something similar?
