Time between ceremony and reception

I am getting married in August at a small venue. We are having ceremony and reception at the venue together. My concern is that i still want a small amount of time to take pictures at a nearby park between the two. This would be less than an hour due to it being August! (too hot to be out longer than that!!! Is it rude to leave my guests when we are going to be in the same place for the reception? By the way- i am planning a smoothie bar and cheese and cracker tray for snacks during this time. What do you think?

I personally think that as long as your guests are taken care of during the short time that you are gone, you should be OK. By this I mean that they should have appetizers and drinks.

Agree with GoBucks...as long asthey dont have to like sit outside with no food and no drinks... I think you're fine. Actually I think they would totally expect you to leave to get a few more pictures...

I also agree with PP. It sounds like you have thought of your guests so I would not worry.
