New Jersey

Hi ladies! I'm new here and looking for an original venue!

Anyone know of a cool, different type of venue?  Looking for something outdoors in North or Central NJ.  Like a farm or a winery........ anything????

Thanks!
Farah

Welcome and congrats.  If you give us this information we can certainly help, otherwise it will be a bit all over the place.
    What is your budget?
Is that before or after tax & gratuity (this can be an additional 20% pp)?
    What is your minimum?
    What time of year?

Also below is another post about outdoor venues.

Crossed Keys Inn is beautiful, it was my first choice, but it is pricey!

If you have money to spend check out Laurita Winery... GORGEOUS view of the Vineyards and Brand New banquet facility.

Thanks for the advice!  I'll check out that link below.

I'm lucky that my parents are helping (A LOT) so I have a pretty generous budget.

You may also want to check our venue, Hamilton Farm Golf Club.  It is a country club, so it isn't 100% outdoors, but it is built on a 600-acre old estate so there's plenty of outdoor space.

The cocktail hour is held on the lawn overlooking the 18th hole (photos http://tinyurl.com/hfcocktails1 and http://tinyurl.com/hfcocktails2).

The reception is held in a glass-enclosed (so heated and air-conditioned, but very exposed to the outside.  Photos: http://tinyurl.com/hftent1 and http://tinyurl.com/hftent2).

We were definitely looking for something a little unique too -- we wanted a connection to the outdoors and did not want our reception to be in a generic ballroom.  We were very happy with what we found.

I am getting married at the Park Avenue Club it is not super outdoorsy, but it is a glass enclosed tent similar to the one uppereast posted above.

I got married at Mallard Island Yacht Club in November and the place is stunning!  They also own Bonnet Island Esates which is equally as beautiful.  They are both near LBI.  Check out their websites.
