Hey, hey, hey!!! I missed you ladies while I was gone, but I had a blast! It was an awesome trip that went better than we could have imagined.
I'll start with the amazing. Our photographer! I am so glad I decided to go against the cruise lines rules on this one and brought my own. He just posted a couple of pictures on my facebook and I couldn't be happier. We became really good friends with him and his wife over the course of the cruise and he said this wedding was his absolute favorite to shoot.
Good - Everything. I am glad we decided on the videographer. The guy who did it was really cool to work with and he did a good job on it. I knew going into it it wasn't going to be spectacular, but I'm glad we have it on video. We watched it to make sure there weren't any typos or anything before we got off the ship and I teared up watching it.
Bad - Of course a couple little things didn't go as planned, but there wasn't anything big that happened during the wedding or reception that upset me.
Ugly - On Tuesday of the cruise, I got a killer sunburn that still hurts today. On Wednesday morning, my husband went down to the medical area to get me some aloe and him some pepto because he drank WAY too much and was having some stomach issues because of it. The nurse put his information in a computer which came back saying he had the flu. She told him he had to be quarentined for 24 hours which would mean he would miss the excursion with our videographer in Jamaica and our TTD in Cayman. He fought it for probably an hour before he came up to the room to tell me. He was in tears when he was telling me. We went to guest services, back to the medical area, and talked to managers of managers trying to get him off the boat. They said nothing at all could be done till the 24 hours was up. Finally, one of the doctors said it was okay for him to get off. She had to call someone else in the CDC (commutable disease center?) and get their password to get the restriction taken off. Then when we were trying to get off the boat the restriction was still there. The security guy called the doctor and they finally let us off with maybe two minutes to spare before our excursion was supposed to start.
Before the wedding, we had a lot of trouble with the hotel we booked a block through the night before the wedding and the travel agent. Most of you have heard me complain about them so I'm not going to go into details on this terribly long post.
The TTD went awesome and I am so suprised my dress is as clean as it is. I rinsed it out in the tub four times when we got back on the boat and here it is hanging on the balcony to dry. (Can't figure out how to turn it on the in-laws mac)
And here is a klassy wine shot for you

I didn't have a bag, but I didn't think you would mind too much.
Here is our videographer having a red stripe with me after the excursion.
I am still working on catching up from the past week or so, but I did see where MotoLyn came to say hi. If you are reading this, have fun next week! And you better come back here and post pics!
