Aw, that is so great!  Thanks for sharing!

I love Brenda!! She made my wedding dress fit like a glove... It was just perfect!

I have two weddings that I'm in next year & will be bringing both dresses to her, for alterations.  One of the brides, will be going to her too.  She is so great!  Can't say enough good things about her!  = )

Thanks!  I don't have to worry about alterations quite yet, but I was always planning on going through the seamstress at the bridal shop where I ordered my dress.  I have heard a lot of good things about Brenda, though, so now I am considering checking elsewhere.  For those of you who used her, would you recommend going to her when I just want basic alterations, bustle, etc.?  I'm just wondering if it would be worth the trip to Anoka.  I know the prices vary, but does anyone know how her prices are compared to other alterations places?  If you are comfortable sharing, how much did your alterations end up costing?

    TIA!

Cool, thanks for sharing! I have my 2nd fitting in less than a week. Can't wait to finally have my dress fit without holding it up! I am so happy I decided to go with her.

Mzad- I think her alterations are comparable to many alterations places. My entire bill included: taking in the bust/sides on both sides and because my dress had a side zipper, the zipper has to be taken out AND put back in so that is a lot of extra work, she is putting over 100 extra swarvorski crystals onto my dress to add extra sparkle, she is putting in a built in bra, shrinking the inner waist belt, building in an adjustable hoop, a 9 point bustle, and she is pressing/steaming the dress as well. All together it was just under $300. I think that is incredibly reasonable. I know that her bustle is $10 per point, which is pretty reasonable. HTH!

My bill from her was like 65.00 I believe. I also had her "bling" out my dress and I had a 4 point bustle. Super reasonable and if you refer someone to her, you can get your dress steamed for free. You just have to ask  :)

Not only is she really good at what she does and is good price wise, but she is a lot of fun to just be around.

What a wonderful article, I always love to see thriving small businesses :-)

When it comes time to have my alterations done, I think I'll for sure go to her!
