My FI and I decided that italian would probably be the best kind of food to serve based on appealing to everyone, price, and reasonable to do "buffet style".

We were thinking salad, lasagna, alfredo, regular spagetti, garlic bread, and stuffed mushrooms.

enough options?

and for desert we got a 3 tiered cake - vanilla with raspberry and white choc. filling, cookies and cream, and black forest.

Sounds good, but I have a question/comment:

Do you plan to use meat sauce for both the lasagna and the spaghetti? If so, I might reconsider & make one of them (I'd think the spaghetti) a marinara to give folks a lighter/vegan option if they so choose. If you're planning on spaghetti marinara, you're golden.

And, of course, the cake sounds tasty!

we were going to separate the noodles from the spaghetti sauce and alfredo. The spaghetti sauce will be a marinara. That way if people want sauce or just butter and parm they can do so
