Workout Accountability: Tuesday

Morning Ladies!  This one's an early post because I have to go to a mind-numbing three and a half hour training this morning at work.

Kempo went well last night, but I'm really irritated the extra lb from the weekend isn't off yet.  Stupid sodium.  Today is stretch x, so I won't be burning too many calories, and it's too hot already to take the dog for a long walk, so I may add in some light biking at home.  I also might just use it as a rest day, minus stretch x - decisions, decisions.

Eating was good yesterday, and should be good today.  We're going fr a team luncheon but at least it's to a deli so I can get a salad.

How is everyone else doing today?

    Eating was decent yesterday and I used my trampoline for most of my exercise yesterday.  It's been super hot in my apartment so it's hard to want to add exertion to that.

  • Even in this heat I am going for a 3 mile walk. (a run would be too much for me) As of Thursday I will be in Vegas to work out with Tony Horton, ShaunT and etc, so I have got to be ready for the heat!
    Eating is going great. I bought pizza for my friend that is house sitting and it was definitely a temptation to cook one of those bad boys up..

  • Morning girls!

    I have been MIA for a few days-just super busy! over the weekend FI and I went to an Italian street festival, I kept it clean and only ate 1 small lamb kabob
    fathers day was at FI's parents...ate delicious steak!
    Sat, went to a body combat class...ate breakfast to close to the class and half way through...well lets just say I wont be eating breakfast that close to a class that hard again....so embarrassing!

    yesterday was Zumba day but FI and I took the day off work and went to Canada's Wonderland ( a HUGE amusement park) its HOT here in Toronto so we drank a lot of water, did lots of walking and even played in the waterpark, due to my food restrictions we were not tempted by all the  crap they try and sell you so food was decent.
    tonight is either pump or spin, havn't decided yet.

    Sorry for the novel, looking forward to reading Mondays thread when I get a chance.

  • Yesterday was pretty good food wise. This morning we did shoulders and tris and I ran 3 miles after, with only a few short walking breaks.
  • Did okay foodwise again yesterday.  I think the worst thing I had was the rest of my kettle corn I bought at a farmer's market last week.  Did a TON of walking in stores.  

    Today's hotter than yesterday but I need to get some packing done.  I'm counting that as my exercise!

  • Morning ladies!

    Yesterday I got a walk in around the parking lot with co-workers. It was HOT! I'd like to take a walk today but I don't know if it will be worth it to get all hot and sweaty and then have to come back into the office and sit for a few more hours.

    After work, I went grocery shopping and then got to the gym to focus on weightlifting. I got about 35 minutes of weightlifting in - would have gotten more but the gym has shifted all of the equipment around and it looks like they got rid of some of my favorite machines :(. I also got 35 minutes in on the treadmill just to get a little bit more cardio for the day.

    I think because I went to the gym so late last night, I ended up having trouble getting to sleep so I tossed and turned all night. I'm EXHAUSTED today. Still planning on making myself go to the gym for an extensive cardio session after work though.

  • Yesterday i treated myself to a glass of wine with dinner - a little reward for being happy with the way I looked in my dress last night. I know I still have about 15-20 pounds to lose before I am at a healthy weight I'm not giving up this weight loss will definitely continue beyond the wedding. Today I am biking to work. After work FI and I have a dance lesson.

  • @dawn - i wish i could bike to work! what a great way to get your exercise in.

    @lobsters - dont beat yourself up too much about the lb! you know how evil sodium is!

    This morning I lifted and did some cardio. I did back and abs today. I hate ab exercises. I feel like they are so useless for me since I have way too much body fat to show any definition but I guess strengthening your core is a good thing. I did a quick 5k on the treadmill after I lifted. Trying to get my eating back on track this week!

  • Hi everyone.  Yesterday was just ok...hit 14,000 steps which was good, and jogged 40 minutes (about 3.5 miles), but eating was just awful at the graduation party.  cheese and crackers, pasta, cake, etc.  UGH. 

    Back on track today, should be staying within my calories.  Will take a walk on my lunch break, and then tonight FI and I are going shopping so will get in a little bit of walking there. 
  • Everybody complaining about the heat should come to Seattle it's rainy and in the 50's here :)

  • Last night I rocked the elliptical for 40 minutes and shed my weekend transgressions. This morning I got back to 30DS, too. It's a coworker's birthday today so there will be cake later. I'm going to have a SMALL piece and that's it. Tonight I'm going to try and get in some walking before class.

  • Me and working out has been terrible... I jumped on the trampoline for an hour with my son yesterday but other then that... nothing... I wish I had more time in my life...

  • Yesterday, only a dog walk happened. I wanted to do more.. but I feel SO lazy this week. We went and saw my sister's new house last night in Edmonton and had supper there, which went well. We just picked up a rotisserie chicken from Safeway with a veggie tray and a potato salad. Much better than Olive Garden which is our usual go-to!

    Today I am pooped again. Went to my mom's school to help out with the grade one's this morning, and they are all nuts! They know that there are only 7 more days of school and are ready for summer. Needless to say, that took my energy rapidly. Eating is good so far today and will stay that way since I work tonight which means no time for snacking :)

    Jealous of all you people in the heat... send some of it up to Alberta! It's just stormy here :P

  • Hi All!

    Yesterday was a rest day, and I started a new job so I was not near the computer at all. Looks like everyone is doing pretty well though...

    This morning before work I took the dog for a one mile walk, just a quickie while it was cool. Today after work a friend and I are going for a long walk with her son who rides in the stroller. Thats usually a 3 mile walk, and shes starting the C25K so hopefully soon we can jog!

    Eating yesterday and today has been great but I def took the weekend off and splurged. Thankfully I didn't gain because I did keep up the exercise! Sorry for the long post guys! :)

  • I managed to drag my butt into the gym today, though it was tough!  I was on call at my job all weekend and they definitely kept me working.  4 days in a row is almost too much.  It's not like the job is DIFFICULT, it just interferes with EVERYTHING and you're constantly worried that you'll get "the call".  Not to mention, Murphy is usually in full effect with "You can be at home for 12 hours with nothing, but the minute you drive down the street to buy toilet paper the pager will go off".

    I was exhausted this morning, and it was so hard to get out of bed and away from FI!!  So after work I went to the gym and started with the premise of "We'll do 2 miles and see how it goes".  I managed to talk myself into 3 1/4 miles, which was great.  It was a little rough since I forgot my mp3 player at home, but I managed to not get too distracted and bored.  I'm not the fastest runner - back still acts up if I pick up the pace too much - but I'm glad I can do 3 + miles still.

    Ate very well today, but have been peeing like a racehorse for the last few days because of increased water/fluid intake.  It's ridiculous.  I'm ok in the morning, but in the afternoon I have to run to the bathroom like 20 times before I go home for the day :P  My kidneys apparently are very efficient at what they do.  Looking forward to getting on the scale this Thursday and seeing if there have been any changes!
