As much as I appreciate snow days, I'm kind of bummed! We add on days to the end of the year to makeup for the ones lost. We've already had one for Hurricane Sandy, now crazy Winter Storm Nemo hehe love the name is going to pound us with a possible 30 inches, ahhh!
Our last day is supposed to be June 26th, that has 5 snow days built in to it. We get to shave off the ones that we don't use. With my wedding being July 6th, I was really hoping for no makeup days, but eeeh, what can you do!

Anyone else being effected by this ridiculous storm?? I'm just hoping we don't lose power...

    We really don't have any more free days, but I'm sitting in school looking out the window and praying it doesn't get too bad before 3. I really really wish we did early dismissals...

    I was supposed to have an interview today...its canceled today! Kind of bummed but gives me a few more days to prepare!

    I work at a hospital and so I'm positive people will call off because of the impending storm. However I live on top of a mountain so I'd much rather get home safe than cover for someone.

    I work at a daycare/preschool in Maine. I was hoping there would be school so that I could do my preschool lesson today. (M for Mouse in case you were curious. haha). But we got the snow day and havealmost twice as many kids as we would have had.
    They have all been good. I guess i am just thankful I live where I work and wont have to leave the house unless there is some sort of emergency.

    School cancelled and we're in the same boat - days added on to the end of the year.  We're at three now - 2 for Hurrican Sandy and now 1 for this blizzard!    Hoping for no more this year, so I can have some time relax before the wedding on the 5th!

    The snow day for us brings the last day to June 25 and Ive heard schools in my area may not be back in session until Wednesday!  THAT would make the last day the 27th! My wedding is July 7 and Id like time to relax after the school year,  but that time is getting shorter and shorter!

    <div>Our school has been cancelled for Monday - they did the all Saturday around 530-6pm!  Walking around my neighborhood in Providence I can see why - so many people still not shoveled out!  We're now working until the 25th, but our last day regardless of how many snow days we have is the 26th so I imagine we'll be back at school on Tuesday!  Gotta love the four day weeks leading up to February break!</div>

    Yeah...the town I live in already canceled for tomorrow...I'm waiting to hear from the town I work in. Driving around, even on the main roads, is awful! Trees are down....there's a lot to be cleaned! Sidewalks aren't cleared yet and they need to be for school to be in session. Def not hating the fact that it could possibly be a 4day week before vacation!!! As of right now, we'll be celebrating Valentines Day and the 100th day of school on Thursday...my fingers are actually crossed for no school tomorrow so we can seperate the two special days! Plus, after 2 days of being lazy, I'm totally not motivated for school tomorrow! I'm ok with the fact that our last day will probably be June 26th...our original thought for our wedding date was June 28th...thank goodness we didn't go for that!!! Stay safe everyone!!
