SNOW DAY! = Getting some To dos accomplished!

Well we are getting hit hard up in New England with snow, (already 11.5 inches) and I have no school/work!  Time to get cracking on those last mniute things since I have less than 60 days!

On my agenda:
Finalizing Ceremony readings
Organizing our vendor contracts
Finalizing program wording
Working on Water labels for OOT bags

Let's hope im productive.  With this kind of weather, all I want to do is curl up on the couch!

Lucky you! With Florida being the only of the 50 states that doesn't have snow, I'm stuck working... I would kill for a day to get some stuff accomplished! lol

I feel the same way. At least we had a half day at today so I can get some grading done.

I know how lucky I am to have this bonus day off!  One of the benefits to teaching in New England.  I work at a private school so we don't get those half days, but I'll take this snow days!  Although making them up in the summer isn't fun.

Half days are the worse and everyone is complaining about them. I would rather be teaching my kids right now. We have tests coming up and this group needs everything they can get. Look at me, I am on TK as I grade papers (which I would do at home and grade papers or work on lesson plans).
I hope district figures something out next year.

Mbathy- I miss snow days. When I lived in Colorado we had two snow days before winter break then it seemed like every Friday in Jan was a snow day.

I had early release today.. So it's not as bad as a half day. My class got out an hour early.. So I just had to adjust my time a little but, I still got everything in!!  :)

My FI is in upstate NY caring for his father. (just had hip replacement).. He's been complaining about shoveling snow to turn around and get another 3-4 feet an hour later.. LoL..  Love it!
