My fiance and I grew up together, smae tball teams same soccer teams, different schools though. We began dating our junior year of highschool and have known we were each other's "the one" from day one. Well after 5 long years, at my college graduation party he proposed, here's how it went...
My parents threw me a huge party May 20, 2012 at a restaurant, with all of my extended family there as well as my fiance's parents, grandmother, and his one aunt and uncle and cousins that he is closest to. My parents told me that the party was my gift and knowing how much it cost I was totally fine with that. Well after I finished eating my dad got up in front of everyone and said that he and my mom had a special gift for me and that it was too big to wrap so my fiance and brother went outside to get it, but since it wasnt wrapped I had to be blindfolded. Still had no idea what was to come. Next thing I know i hear my brother say "man this is heavy" so I had no clue still I thought it was for my car or something. My dad said to take the blindfold off and their stood my fiance in a tuxedo getting down on one knee in front of everyone! it was so cue and so romantic. Once i stopped screaming and the shock wore off i heard the Bruno Mars song "hey baby i think i wanna marry yuou" playing in the background..he had it all planned for his brother to turn it on! His parents bought champagne for everyone and all the guests got it on camera and his brother was even able to get it on the camcorder..how awesome is that?! i literally was in such shock i had to sit down i had no idea it was coming.
