Brides size 18+ - need input

So here is my problem - I'm a size 18 and the only place I've been able to find a dress is David's Bridal. I've gone to 2 different bridal boutiques with specific input on the dress that I want to try - an empire waist, non-strapless. In both cases, neither of them had any in my size, and tried to push a different style on me as that's all they had in my size. I'm not comfortable purchasing a dress that when I try it on is 2 size too small!Is there a boutique in town that you've had success in having a sample of larger sizes wedding dresses?  Thanks for the input!     I am a size 18 and all the dresses I tried on were around 14-16 so they were two sizes too small and I was still able to find a dress I loved. I knew the moment I put it on it was the dress even though I could lace the laces.

    Ah, I was in your shoes. Natalie M (formerly Fashions at Large) at 126th and Metcalf in Overland Park is an incredible place to look. The sales ladies were great, had tons of experience, and lots of catalogs to look through, as well. I don't know how familiar you are with the Alfred Angelo brand, but they're also a preferred retailer for them and had tons of samples in store of those dresses in plus sizes.     Thanks for the input. I will definitely contact them to see what they have to offer. And by the way, I love Alfred Angelo. Nice variety and I am looking for some type of color for my dress, which I know he does a lot of styles in various colors.
