Let's hear 'em!

FI and I went and finalized our mensware. FI bought his own tux and we got something very similar for the rest of the guys and my dad. Black, 1 button lapel tuxes, flat-front pants. No vest. Black bow ties. Black/silver cuffs/studs. Really classic, nothing too fancy. FI will probably wear a slightly different bowtie and we'll give him a pocket square. It will only cost the GM about $130 to rent so I think that is pretty good?

Anyone else got stuff to share?

I ordered my shoes yesterday! Hopefully they'll be here before Thursday for my fitting. I've never ordered shoes online before, hopefully they fit

-Last night we decided that the ring bearers will rent matching suits (minature versions of the groomsmen/groom)... we were originally thinking they would buy them, but we are going to go the rental route. I still plan to buy them a bow tie though.

Yesterday, I order the sign from GroupDeelz and the Materials for the sand ceremony Three glass vase, fuschia and orange sand al for 60 dollars.

The past few days have been busy -

found a rehersal dinner outfit
Put invites together and stuff the invites into the inner envelopes. Just need to have the outer stamped and addressed
Took my dress in yesterday to have a bustle added
Picked out flowers

It is exciting to cross things off the list.

Yesterday we met with our pastor and harpist! I feel like we can actually get married now haha. We wrote out the entire ceremony, and selected music for the processional and recessional. I can finally type up our programs now too. Huge check for us.

Something happened to my shoes so I had to order new ones this weekend. I ordered them from a bridal shop and they'll take 4-6 weeks :/

I set up a meeting with our DJ for next Tuesday evening.
My mom's friend just used him for an 18th b-day party and she said he was the best DJ she's ever hired before. I heard he was good but didn't know how good. And, he's very inexpensive to top it off!

Ordered my garter last night- took the advice of another Knottie and got one with FI's favorite football team- Baltimore Ravens. I think he will be very surprised!

Where did you guys end up finding your shoes? That's next on the list....
