    Really, all you CAN do is accept that you know the potential outcome and go ahead with your day as you would normally, hoping for the best.

    She's going to act the way she's going to act and, ultimately, there's nothing you CAN "do" about it.  I'd like to hope that she can put your feelings and wedding day before her own irritation and discomfort, particularly in a situation where she can ingore the offending party for the most part, but some people just can't do that.

    I'd continue to express your desire for a conflict-free day, but beyond that, I'd just keep reminding myself that her behavior will reflect on her, not you.  Good luck and congratulations!

    Based on the first response, I'm assuming the OP wants to strap two of her friends on her feet in place of shoes but one of them is refusing to cooperate.  The nerve of some people, thinking only of themselves when they have to opportunity to be the bride's footwear!
