Table Overlays

I have been searching for a good place to get gold table overlays. They need to be about 85 x 85 in (square).

In my search I've found that it is cheaper to purchase them instead of rent...Is this for real?!

Also, where do you recommend looking for table overlays..or do you recommend me making them myself?

TIA!

Check out Exeter Rent-all. They may be cheaper than going through the hall. I made my own table runners. And by "I", I mean I bought the fabric and my aunt sewed them, LOL. We bought the black and white damask fabric online and have used it to accent a number of different areas. It worked out better for us this way, but if you're just doing overlays I'd say just rent them.

It can be cheaper to purchase them but then you need to worry about ironing/steaming out any wrinkles and setting them up yourself (if your venue would even allow this) . I found the following site and think the prices seem very reasonable.  http://www.tableclothsfactory.com/default.asp
We rented linens through Divine Linen Rentals in Manchester and chairs from Exeter Rent All.  I though Divine's service was fantastic and Exeter's was just ok.
